In conjunction with Acquaint, a new method has been developed, able to detect failures in steel reinforced concrete. The method is validated and a prototype was able to detect failures in a real life scan.
Surface Acoustic Wave sensor for early detection of biofilms formation
Development of a surface acoustic wave sensor,
Total solids sensor for UASB reactors
Development of an particulate sensor for UASB reactors, an SIA subsidized project, in cooperation with NHL and Lamp-ion B.V.
A new type of sensor has been developed, able to detect the amount of biomass in a live wastewater reactor. Until now, it is only possible to detect the amount of solids in a liquid by removing all water content and weighing, Obviously a tedious task, which can not be done real time.
With the newly developed sensor real time measurement is now possible, resulting in tighter operation of the reactor, and much lower cost in sample preparation and processing.
Optical VFA detection system
In cooperation with Appsen, a Raman based analytical equipment has been developed, able to detect Volatile Faty Acids. An alkalinity sensor for use in oil and gas industry is now being further developed.
Very small spectrometer
Featuring, fully portable power supply requirements, development of an app for android and interface to a regular PC, all in a very small package.
